10/31/2025 — Instances for winter term 2025 available

Instances for the winter term 2025 can now be created using TUMonline data.

Please use the form provided on hub.tumexam.de.

Use the "+ Request New Instance" button, this fetches TUMonline data enabling you to select the course. You can see those courses where you have been assigned some access in TUMonline (lectureship or examination right).

Select a suitable organization and shortname. They are used to generate the URL of the instance. Using tum and the lecture code is a reasonable selection, but you can choose any reasonable values to create an URL similar to the previous years (school/faculty and commonly used abbreviation).

The suggested list of main users are those with some accesses to the TUMonline lecture or examinations. Main users have broad permissions on the instance. You can remove or add main users (using the primary TUM Email address) during instance creation.

As with previous semesters you can later add users and remove users and manage their permissions on the instance.

Start the instance creation by clicking the "+ Request New Instance" button again. The instance is now created.

Instances created based on TUMonline data (the editable can be updated) are automatically provisioned, manually added instances require approval.
